  For those traveling to Oxford Mississippi, in my experience, I will never rent a property from Rebel Realty and Property Management in the future. I traveled to Oxford on the weekend of October 18, 2013 with coworkers and rented a condo through this realty company. We arrived on a Friday evening and immediately left to go to dinner, not returning until later that night. On Saturday morning, as we were getting ready to leave for the day to attend an Ole Miss football game, water started leaking from an upstairs toilet through downstairs vents and into the living room. The owner was contacted immediately and they then called a plumber. The home was cleaned to its original condition and we did not hear about the issue for the remainder of the weekend. On October 28, 2013, I received a check for a portion of the deposit and a copy of a check to the plumber. After email correspondence with the owner, it was stated that I would not be receiving my deposit back in full because vomit was found to have clogged the toilet, which caused it to stop up. Myself, nor anyone in my party ever vomited or used the toilet in any such way that would cause it to stop up. I can provide sworn statements to attest to that. I found it necessary to call the plumber myself. After speaking with them, they stated they found no such vomit, or anything else for that matter which stopped up the toilet, and that the owners toilet handle sticks when it is being flushed, which caused the toilet to run over night, hence causing the water leakage. After communicating to the owner, that the reason they are withholding our deposit was found to be untrue, they still will not return our money. I have also asked for proof (an invoice given to the owner by the plumber) stating that this issue was caused by our negligence, and after 3 days, one has yet to be emailed to me. Overall, my experience of not getting our deposit back that is rightfully ours, was a bad one and in my opinion, I will never use this company for future travels.
